Mary O’Connell with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes Joins Menorah Medical Center Board of Trustees

Leawood, Kan. – January 22, 2019 –At the start of the new year, attorney Mary O’Connell took her spot as a new member on the Board of Trustees for the Menorah Medical Center.

Mary replaces Nancy Saugstad, also with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, who served a three-year term. Mary’s term on the board will also be three years.

Menorah Medical Center is a full-service, acute care hospital and ER located in Overland Park and Leawood. Menorah has a world-class medical staff with more than 600 physicians who offer care for adults, newborns, teens and children.

About Mary C. O’Connell:

Mary has litigation experience in a broad spectrum of cases in state and federal courts in Missouri and Kansas. She has successfully defended medical malpractice claims against physicians and hospitals. She also has experience in employment matters, including litigation for claims of harassment and discrimination, preparing and negotiating severance agreements, and preparation of policy and procedure manuals. She also has experience in a variety of general civil litigation matters.

About Nancy E. Saugstad:

Nancy counsels clients on a variety of estate planning and business succession planning matters, working with her clients to develop personalized estate plans, designed to accomplish their specific objectives. In addition to her estate planning practice, Nancy assists her clients with general corporate law matters, including the formation of business entities and formulating and drafting shareholder buy/sell agreements, operating agreements, and redemption agreements in anticipation of transition events, including death and disability.
