Kansas City, Mo. — May 25, 2022 — Rouse Frets White Goss attorneys, Philip Albrecht and Brett Randol, successfully represented a commercial tenant in a case brought by its landlord in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri.

The plaintiff was the owner of the commercial property occupied by the firm’s client.  The client’s lease granted it the option to extend the term up to an additional 35 years with no increase in rent.  Plaintiff brought claims alleging the client’s lease was a forgery, unconscionable and/or the product of fraud or unilateral mistake.  After bench trial and briefing, the Circuit Court found in favor the firm’s client on all claims asserted by the plaintiff.

The attorneys successfully representing the commercial tenant in its defense were Philip Albrecht and Brett Randol.  Both attorneys are experienced in commercial and business dispute resolution.

Choice of an attorney is an important decision and should not be based solely upon a website or advertisements.  In reviewing achievements by the law firm or its attorneys, remember that past results afford no guarantee of future results; every matter is different and must be judged on its own merits. And, although our lawyers may practice in subject areas, neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor The Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialty designations for Missouri licensed attorneys.
