Ferd Niemann, a White Goss attorney and former Assessor for Jackson County Missouri, recently served as a panelist at a Continuing Legal Education seminar hosted by Legal Aid on December 1st, 2015. Ferd shared his experiences with the Adopt a Neighborhood program, and also discussed the actions that can be taken to bring problem properties into productive use such as property donation, acquisition from land bank, clearing title issues, and use of the Abandoned Housing Act.
