Leawood, Kan. – September 2, 2020 – Rouse Frets White Goss recently secured rezoning approval for a high profile, single-family residential neighborhood in Overland Park.

The location, situated at 167th and Antioch, is a planned community of 70 new homes. Despite plan revisions and significant efforts by the developer to find a mutually agreeable plan, several adjoining single-family homeowners filed a legally valid protest petition. The firm demonstrated the benefits of the proposed subdivision, compliance with all City code requirements, and the meaningful compromises provided to the adjoining homeowners. Based on this information, the Mayor and Council approved the new development on June 1, and construction activities are scheduled to begin later this year. Greg Musil was lead attorney on this matter.
