Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes Attorneys Present at American Planning Association Conference

Kansas City, Missouri- October 31, 2018 – On Friday, October 26, 2018, Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes attorneys Steven Lucas and Melissa Vancrum, who both hold Master of Urban Planning degrees, presented at the American Planning Association Bi-State Conference in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Planning for Tomorrow” was attended by more than 350 professional planners, planning officials, lawyers, architects and developers from Kansas and Missouri. Steven and Melissa’s presentation, “Environmental and Land Use Law Update: ‘Can the Notorious RBG Save the Planet?’” highlighted how the new Supreme Court of the United States could impact environmental and land use law. The presentation also reviewed federal, Kansas and Missouri land use cases.

The American Planning Association is an organization that provides leadership in the development of vital communities by advocating excellence in planning, promoting education and citizen empowerment, and providing members with the tools and support necessary to meet the challenges of growth and change.
