Rouse Frets White Goss attorney Aaron March represents client on $41 million luxury apartments project in West Bottoms

Kansas City, Mo. – February 11, 2021 –  A $41 million second-phase luxury apartments project in the West Bottoms is one step closer to becoming a reality after the Unified Government of Wyandotte County in Kansas City, Kansas approved a redevelopment plan.

The project, The Yards II, is being developed by Flaherty & Collins Properties, with attorney Aaron March representing the developers in building this new space that will include 225 to 240 apartments and 6,000 square feet of first-floor retail west of State Line Road.  March has been involved in obtaining approvals of the of the master plan amendment, the formation of the TIF District around the eventual site, and unanimous approval of the TIF Project Plan.

The development team hopes to break ground in the third quarter of 2021 after acquiring more leases for occupancy; currently the property sits at more than 50% occupancy and growing.
