Chuck Rouse and Elish Meyers were among the key speakers at the national meeting of the Retail Gift Card Association, an association of large regional and national brands that operate in the retail, restaurant, travel and entertainment space.
Members of the Retail Gift Card Association issue or sell gift cards and related instruments. The association’s annual event was October 2 to 4 in Kansas City, Mo. Rouse and Meyers were part of a panel discussion, “Regulatory and Legal Q&A.” Topics included escheatment requirements, cash-back laws, CARD Act exceptions and other government affairs activities.
Rouse and Meyers are members of the firm’s Payment Instruments and Prepaid Cards practice, a national leader in regulatory compliance.
