Randall L. Rhodes was recently named to the Kansas City Business Journal Best of the Bar 2018.

Randall L. Rhodes is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who has successfully represented individuals, families and corporate entities in a wide range of litigation, both as a plaintiff’s lawyer and as a defense lawyer. He was selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Missouri and Kansas and has been selected as a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyer in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Randall obtained two of the top three verdicts in 2017, according to Missouri Lawyers Weekly – including the largest verdict in the state.
Rouse Fret’s Catastrophic Loss group obtained a $100 million judgment in 2017 on behalf of a man who said he was abused throughout childhood by his Boy Scout leader. Randall took a unique approach in the case by trying to a judge in lieu of a trial by jury in John Doe vs. Scott Alan Bradshaw. Rhodes, with the help of Jeffrey Rowe and Rachel Boden, secured $25 million in compensatory damages and $75 million in punitive damages for their client.
Rouse Frets obtained a second nine-figure judgment in 2017 for a plaintiff who claimed a former Scoutmaster and physician sexually abused him hundreds of times throughout childhood. Randall, with the assistance of Jeffrey Rowe and Rachel Boden, tried the case to a judge who awarded the plaintiff $20 million in compensatory damages and $100 million in punitive damages. This was the second successful case tried in front of a judge in lieu of a jury trial.
