Mike White and Ferd Niemann’s article “Declaring Blight: A Guide for Government Officials” was published in the Spring 2016 issue of the Missouri County Record. The article provides a primer and a high level guide for policymakers as they evaluate blight findings, especially as they pertain to tax increment financing and other Missouri economic development incentives. Mike and Ferd are attorneys in the public law practice group of White Goss and concentrate their practices on economic development incentives, land use, and zoning.
