Rouse Frets White Goss helps client bring affordable housing options to Overland Park

Leawood, Kan. – April 2, 2021 – PEG Companies, a vertically integrated, full-service commercial real estate investment firm headquartered in Provo, Utah, is actively engaged in projects around the United States transforming first-generation extended stay hotels to affordable rental apartments. PEG Companies is represented by Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes.

With the assistance of the law firm, PEG Companies recently received approval to convert two former extended stay hotels in Overland Park into individual apartments. The Hawthorn Suites near College Boulevard and Quivira Road, and the Cloverleaf Suites near I-435 and Lamar Avenue, will be extensively renovated with improved amenities and updated interiors for studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Rents will be well below the average for newly constructed multifamily projects in Overland Park or the metropolitan area.

Greg Musil of Rouse Frets White Goss was the lead attorney to obtain rezoning and preliminary development plan approval of these projects.

Choice of an attorney is an important decision and should not be based solely upon a website or advertisements. In reviewing achievements by the law firm or its attorneys, remember that past results afford no guarantee of future results; every matter is different and must be judged on its own merits. And, although our lawyers may practice in subject areas, neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor The Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialty designations for Missouri licensed attorneys.
