Leawood, Kan. – October 17, 2025: Ron Holt and Ty Kalleck, attorneys with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C., recently received a favorable ruling on behalf of their higher education client from a U.S. District Court Judge in Iowa.

The judge denied a motion for a preliminary injunction filed by a minority shareholder of the law firm’s client, who in April had failed to close on an option purchase of the majority stock of the company and now was attempting to keep the company from pursuing a sale of the majority stock to another party. The ruling means the law firm’s client can continue to pursue a sale in its best interests.

Choice of an attorney is an important decision and should not be based solely upon a website or advertisements. In reviewing achievements by the law firm or its attorneys, remember that past results afford no guarantee of future results; each matter is different and must be judged on its own merits. Although our lawyers may practice in subject areas, neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor The Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialty designations for Missouri licensed attorneys.
