Kansas City, Mo. – July 17, 2024: Mark Coulter, an attorney with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C., recently hosted a panel discussion at the Missouri Realtors Spring Business Conference that focused on how to structure partnerships with port authorities in Missouri and how they can create economic development opportunities.
Mark’s panel guests were Joe Perry, vice president of development with the Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (Port KC), and Morgan Mutert, director of business development and government affairs with Hunt Midwest.
Hosting the panel allowed Mark to showcase his significant experience in public law, economic development, government affairs, transportation, and public-private partnerships (P3). Mark served as general counsel for Port KC for more than a decade and contributed on more than $26 billion in incentivized projects utilizing Chapter 68 bonds. As a member of the law firm, Mark represented Hunt Midwest in their incentive requests for KCI-29, one of the largest mega-site industrial developments in Missouri.
As a member of the steering committee for the Governor’s Conference on Economic Development, Mark will speak on a similar panel this September in St. Louis.
