Greg Musil of Rouse Frets White Goss re-elected to the Kansas 10th Judicial District Nominating Commission

Leawood, Kan. – April 7, 2020 – Greg Musil, attorney with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, was recently re-elected to the Kansas 10th Judicial District Nominating Commission.

The commission, a 14-member body that interviews, evaluates and recommends judicial candidates to the governor, is comprised of seven attorneys who are residents of Johnson County and elected by their peers, and seven lay people who are appointed one each by the Board of County Commissioners.

For more than 30 years Johnson County has used a judicial merit selection and retention system for District Court and Magistrate Judges. When a vacancy is announced, the Commission commences the judicial nomination procedure.
