Bill Moore, Rouse Frets White Goss Attorney, Named Chairman of Independence Economic Development Committee

Kansas City, Mo. – January 26, 2026: Bill Moore, a shareholder with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C., was recently appointed to be the new chairman of the Independence Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee. 

Bill is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The Chamber, through the Independence Economic Development Partnership, a non-profit public/private partnership, supports the economic growth of the City of Independence.

Bill is an active member of the Independence community, where he served for more than 15 years as a City Counselor. Bill’s clients include Independence groups seeking to revitalize the community, including Friends of Englewood Theater and Englewood Arts.

About Bill Moore: Bill has over 40 years of experience practicing law in both the private and public sector. His practice concentrates on local government law and real estate development, including zoning, land use, and economic incentives. Bill serves as special counsel for many political subdivisions utilizing development tools such as tax increment financing, tax abatement, and the creation of special purpose districts such as transportation development districts and community improvement districts. Bill also represents property owners and developers on real estate development matters.
