LEAWOOD, Kan. – Rouse Frets Gentile Rhodes, LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of StartMeUp KC, a group created to provide accessible legal services for start-up companies and small businesses.
StartMeUp KC founders Sarah Meyer and Analisa Cox will bring their company’s small business approach to Rouse Frets as they begin work in the firm’s new Contract Review, License Agreements and Vendor Management Group. Meyer and Cox will help clients create business entities and review, draft and negotiate contracts and legal documents, including commercial leases, service agreements, vendor contracts, employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, privacy policies and more.

A native of Kansas City, Cox earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas and her juris doctorate at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She worked in corporate e-discovery at UnitedLex Corp. before joining Cerner Corp. Cox has significant experience in contracts and legal project management.
Meyer earned her undergraduate degree at St. Ambrose University and her juris doctorate at Stetson University College of Law. She co-founded a law firm in Iowa, where she worked for 10 years before moving to Kansas City and going in-house with Cerner Corp. She has more than 10 years of experience in corporate, business and real estate law.
