Leawood, Kan. – December 17, 2024: Melissa Vancrum, an attorney with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C., was recently selected to an Urban Land Institute (ULI) technical assistance panel that developed improvement ideas for the City of Overland Park and Downtown Overland Park Partnership.
Melissa’s volunteer work on the panel over the course of two days showcased her experience in public law and urban planning. She was the only attorney selected for the ULI panel, which included architects, engineers, planners, and real estate professionals. The panel interviewed stakeholders including city staff and business and property owners and residents, collaborated in an intense two-day session on possible solutions, and then presented recommendations to officials and staff from the City, the Downtown Overland Park Partnership, business owners and residents, including ideas on walkable street connections, commercial development opportunities, and potential funding sources.

Choice of an attorney is an important decision and should not be based solely upon a website or advertisements. In reviewing achievements by the law firm or its attorneys, remember that past results afford no guarantee of future results; each matter is different and must be judged on its own merits. Although our lawyers may practice in subject areas, neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor The Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or specialty designations for Missouri licensed attorneys.
