Greg Musil, Rouse Frets White Goss Attorney, Honored by Overland Park Chamber of Commerce for Community Service

Leawood, Kan. – December 12, 2024: Greg Musil, a shareholder with Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C., received the Richard A. “Rick” Worrel Community Legacy Award at the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting. The Chamber established the Worrel Award in 2019 to recognize individuals who exemplify Worrel’s legacy of lifetime service to the community.

The Chamber recognized Greg’s longstanding contributions to the community, including his service on the Overland Park City Council from 1993-2001 and as council president in 1999 and 2000; membership on the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees from 2011-2024; serving on the the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Johnson County District Court; chairmanship of the once-in-a-decade Johnson County Charter Commission; and co-chairmanship of the Forward Overland Park Vision Steering Committee.

At the presentation of the award, Greg was lauded for his long history of providing pro bono legal services and volunteering for numerous community, charitable and civic events, such as serving as emcee for a local National Civics Bee competition and on numerous boards and committees through the years, including his beloved Kansas State Wildcats.
