Audrey Manito

Experience

Audrey is an associate with the Firm working with the litigation, public law and renewable energy practice groups. Audrey joined the Firm after moving from Houston, Texas, where she spent ten years practicing as a litigator representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts regarding a variety of matters, including business, commercial and personal injury. Audrey received her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2011. While in law school, she wrote for the Corporate Counsel Review and was a member of the National Moot Court Team, winning awards for best brief and best oralist. Audrey also studied international human rights and humanitarian law at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland. She co-founded Elijah Rising, a nonprofit organization fighting sex trafficking in Houston and served as its Chair until she moved to Kansas City.  Prior to law school, Audrey worked as a journalist at the New York Times’ Houston bureau and was bylined in the newspaper. She graduated magna cum laude while double-majoring in journalism and business at Houston Baptist University.
