Experience

Carol focuses her practice on construction, surety and fidelity law. With 30-plus years of experience, she is a leading attorney in her field and a well-known author and presenter on surety and fidelity topics. Working with some of the largest surety and fidelity underwriters in the country, Carol represents clients in a variety of claim situations, litigation, and arbitration; analyzes and defends claims on financial institution bonds and commercial crime policies; and handles and litigates a wide variety of commercial bond claims.

Carol is a past chair of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice (TIPS) Fidelity and Surety Law Committee and sits on the Board of Directors of the Surety Claims Institute.
