Ty L. Kalleck

Experience

Ty is an associate in the firm’s business litigation and higher education groups. Ty focuses his practice on representing businesses in civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Kansas and Missouri. He has experience in a wide array of practice areas, including employment disputes, construction defects and mechanic’s lien, premises liability, and class action lawsuits. Ty also practices in the higher education space, representing higher education institutions in state and federal court litigation, arbitration, regulatory matters, and accrediting and state licensing agency disputes.

Before joining the firm in 2024, Ty acquired hands-on experience handling insurance related matters as an insurance defense attorney in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

Ty earned a teaching degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with honors. There, he was a member of the law school’s mock trial team and served as a staff member of the UMKC Law Review.
