Experience

Doug’s practice focuses upon administrative law with an emphasis upon licensing and permitting regulations that impact business operations. His work ranges across several sectors from permitting for land use improvements to higher education regulations. In his professional practice prior to joining the firm, Doug served as a hearing officer with the Missouri Department of Social Services, rendering decisions on claimant appeals of adverse benefits determinations under Missouri statutes and regulations. He later entered the private sector, providing legal support on thousands of telecommunications projects with regards to both leasing and regulatory objectives. Doug graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Law in 2016 with highest honors in pro bono public service and an emphasis in urban, land use, and environmental law. Prior to law school, Doug obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
