Nicole concentrates on higher education, ERISA and employee benefits, and business and transactional work. Prior to joining the firm in July 2018, Nicole worked at an affiliated firm where she gained experience representing contractors and subcontractors in a wide variety of construction matters as well as general corporate transactions.
Nicole received her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, graduating with an emphasis in business and entrepreneurial law in 2015, where she was the Lead Literary Editor for the Law Review Journal and served as a staff member on The Urban Lawyer. Additionally, Nicole was an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri, serving both its Appellate and Fraud and Corruption Divisions, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the ACLU, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and Leavenworth District Court. Nicole graduated with Pro Bono/Public Service Honors for her service to the community.
