Mike Conger practices business and tax law, and is known as one of the most knowledgeable and well-rounded attorneys in the region. He focuses a large portion of his practice in employee benefits and ERISA law and has extensive experience with both tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, equity compensation, restricted stock, options, incentive and executive compensation, and with ESOPs. Mike also focuses on the rescue of plans in trouble or which have operational or document defects. Mike has won designations as a specialist in ERISA fiduciary law. He is the innovator of the ESOF (Employee Stock Ownership Fund), an alternative to an ESOP. With clients ranging from individuals and small business to large companies with thousands of employees, Mike has secured more than forty years of experience in ERISA law, include designing, drafting, and implementing plans of every size and type. Mike has frequently been in demand as a seminar speaker and an author.
